You can respond to one of the following questions, if you want:
- Why do you think Hazel's so worried about kissing Augustus? (see pages 90, 93, and 36 - I'm sure there are others too).
- On page 93, Hazel says "it felt Romantic, but not romantic." What's the difference between capitalized and non-capitalized "romantic"? I feel like this is one version of a distinction that shows up a lot in this book (I'm thinking about Augustus's different smiles here, for example). It'd be awesome if you found other examples that are related to this distinction, and posted them!
- What do you think of Hazel's "grenade" theory? Do you think she has a point? (I'd like to point out here that there her reason for being vegetarian (p. 28) is philosophically connected to this).
Or, you can write a "Golden Line" and a question, connection, comment, or prediction (obviously, only write a prediction if you don't already know what's going to happen!)
